Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has had his current value revealed by agent Joao Santos amid impressive form at Euro 2020.
Jorginho, 29, has had a great European Championships so far, scoring the winning penalty in the semi-final shoot-out against Spain to send Italy through to the final, where they await one of England or Denmark.
The 29-year-old already has a UEFA Champions League title to his name this season, and is only one step away from adding the Euros in a year which could be unforgettable for the Italian.
Performing well on the big stage has certainly attracted attention of many European clubs out there who would like to bring the Chelsea man in this summer.
Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has been speaking on Italian radio station RadioMarte about his client's new price for any clubs interested in making a move this summer.
Santos revealed: "Proposals for the boy? Today, Jorginho’s valuation is around €50million. If a team arrives… Obviously he has made it to many finals."
The 29-year-old's agent also leaked some encouraging news for Blues fans when it comes to the future of his client at Stamford Bridge.
"Did any club call me? Yes, but our first thought is to speak to Marina Granovskaia about the renewal. This is certainly a very important moment in his career, he's been waiting for it [Euro final] for 20 years."
Jorginho's newly quoted value of around €50M (roughly £43m) in today's markets seems fairly accurate, despite Transfermarkt claiming his current value is around £36m.
His impressive Euros tournament is definitely a big reason why we have seen the inflation in his price, and why there is disparity between what his agent is quoting and what outlets like Transfermarkt and the CIES Football Observatory are quoting.
But the bigger and more promising news from what Santos told the Italian radio station is that Chelsea's number five is in talks for a new deal.
Considering the rough beginning to his Blues career under Maurizio Sarri, to be at where we are today where Jorginho is seen as undroppable and unsellable by fans of the west London club is quite an achievement.
The Azzurri midfielder currently has two years left on his contract with Chelsea, meaning a new deal could be just around the corner for one of the Blues' most prized assets.
