Jorginho returns, Antonio Rudiger starts but no Mason Mount - Chelsea predicted team vs Lille

Chelsea take on Lille tonight in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge as they look to secure their place in the knockout stages.

The Blues are yet to win at home in the competition, but take on a Ligue 1 side who have already been knocked out from Group H.

While Chelsea will be favourites going into the match, with three Premier League defeats in four matches, the Blues are not going into the game in top form.

Frank Lampard is able to call on Antonio Rudiger for the match, with the Germany international now fit having played only 45 minutes all season for the Blues.

"We’ve managed to create some things behind the scenes here in training that look like match play – and some pure running as well, to be fair," Rudiger said. "He’s come through all of that. You only speak as you look at him and he looks fit and ready to go and I know he’s hungry.

"In terms of the people building him up, probably rightly so. He’s a good defender. Everyone spoke about youth at the start of the season and all these things and transfer bans. I think people overlooked that we started the season with five big players all injured.

"Carrying on that now Rudi is just back and Ruben, who’s a big player for us, we do miss those individuals. Let’s see what he can add to us now."

He might come back into the starting XI straight away after Chelsea's defensive issues having been a real struggle for them over the course of the campaign.

Jorginho has been on the bench for the past couple of games, however he should come back in to solidify the midfield for the crunch match.

That would likely mean a switch to a 4-3-3, which could see Mason Mount moved to the bench, with the form of Willian and Christian Pulisic being Lampard's trusted wingers.

There will be pressure on Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the Spaniard's huge mistake on Saturday leading to Everton killing off the game.

Predicted Chelsea team (4-3-3): Kepa; James, Rudiger, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.
