Michy Batshuayi saw the funny side after team-mate Jorginho bizarrely celebrated Chelsea's winner on Wednesday night by tickling the striker's private parts.
Belgian hitman Batshuayi climbed off the bench to fire the Blues to a stunning 1-0 Champions League win over Ajax in Amsterdam.
And, as the striker and his team-mates celebrated, Jorginho headed towards the goalscorer to show him a little affection with a cheeky grab.
Following his exploits, Batshuayi posted on his social media: "Explain this amico mio (my friend) WHY???!!!!!"
He then commented on Jorginho's Instagram post by saying: “Can I have my balls back please?”
Batshuayi made amends for a shocking earlier miss four minutes from time to deal last season's semi-finalists a first defeat of this campaign.
The Blues rode their luck at times, not least when an Ajax goal was ruled out by VAR for the tightest of offside calls, and when the hosts hit the frame of the goal.
But Frank Lampard's young side grew in stature as a frantic, tetchy encounter wore on and ran out deserved winners when Batshuayi rifled in off the underside of the crossbar.
And Lampard was full of praise for his young side after they left it late in Holland.
"I'm delighted with every element of the performance, the work ethic from everyone and the subs was second to none," said Lampard.
"That's what you want from the subs - sometimes the hardest part is leaving someone out. It's great for the spirit of the squad when subs come on and make an impact like that.
"Michy's training and positivity is exactly what you want. I know he missed one chance but his hold-up play was excellent and he got his goal.
"Whatever happened after that miss I would have been proud, but I know Michy can finish. Christian's assist is as important as the finish, and the fact the sub scored makes me so happy."
