Jorginho gets another chance as Antonio Rudiger returns - Predicted Chelsea team vs Norwich

Chelsea are back in Premier League action tonight against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will be hoping to put the horrors of Saturday night behind them when they take on the Canaries, but there could be some changes in the side.

Frank Lampard was clearly not happy with his players after the loss at Bramall Lane, with both the defence floundering and the forwards misfiring.

“Possibly,” Lampard said when asked if he would make changes. “I don’t want to give my starting line up away. But what I have is a group where there are people competing to try to get into the team.

“There has to be a level of where, if we make mistakes or we’re not reaching the level we want then the people working hard in training can come in and offer something better.

“Kante is not fit. Andreas Christensen had to come off at half-time with an injury, but he is back in the squad for the game. The rest is as we were.”

The inadequacies at the back for the Blues at the weekend could mean a change in the back four, with Antonio Rudiger returning.

The German has been out of the starting side since the West Ham defeat, but Andreas Christensen has had a couple of poor games so could drop out.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the park, Mateo Kovacic could return to the starting XI, with Jorginho likely to keep his place with Kante injured.

Up top, Willian and Christian Pulisic could well keep their place in the side, however Olivier Giroud should come back into the side, with Tammy Abraham moved back on to the bench.

Predicted Chelsea team: Kepa; James, Zouma, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Mount, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Giroud, Pulisic.
