Jorgie Porter reveals 'blue' DIY hairdo in lockdown after 'fallout' with her mum

Like many of us Jorgie Porter braved a lockdown hairdo, and she revealed the DIY salon led to a 'fallout' with her mum.

In a hilarious video shared with her fans the former Hollyoaks actress can be heard squabbling with her mum Julie as she colours her daughter's hair for her.

Blonde Jorgie enlisted her mum's help in lockdown after pointing out that her natural colour was showing.

"I feel you're not getting everything," Jorgie scolds Julie in the Instagram video.

"I feel like you're missing bits mum."

"I feel like you better shut up," Julie fires back.

But Jorgie continues: "I feel like you're just slapping it on in no particular order."

Afterwards Jorgie showed off the results of her mum's handiwork - and told how it had turned 'a bit blue.'

"I'm gonna admit I do miss the hairdresser," she says in a follow-up video.

"It's gone a bit blue but apparently that will just fade eventually."

Jorgie, 32, captioned the video with the words: "I feel like DIY hairdye homejobs with your mum can cause ... serious fallouts."

Previously she shared a video clip showing fans her roots.

"I mean ... do we call this a dirty blonde ... a shade of blonde .... I think my natural hair colour is ... erm ... a rat grey," she concluded.

Last month Jorgie, from Eccles, served up an elegant afternoon tea for Julie's birthday complete with fancy cakes, flowers and delicate cups and saucers.

"My wonderful mummy," she wrote.

"Sorry it's not afternoon tea in Paris."

Jorgie played Theresa McQueen in the Channel Four soap from 2008 until 2016.

The actress was a contestant on the ITV skating show Dancing On Ice in 2012 and in an All Stars version in 2014.

In 2015 she headed to the jungle for I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

Jorgie is reportedly returning to her role on Hollyoaks this year for its 25th anniversary four years after leaving the fictional Chester village.

Her character left to start a new life in Spain and as she waved goodbye she had a feeling that she had forgotten something.

As the taxi left, her auntie Myra realised that she had forgotten her daughter Myra-Pocohontas.
