Jorge Masvidal channels inner Tony Montana ahead of Nate Diaz clash

Jorge Masvidal channeled his inner Tony Montana - then vowed to prove he's the baddest motherf***** in the UFC.

The welterweight donned the same white suit and red shirt as Al Pacino's character in Scarface as he came face to face with Nate Diaz.

The pair will clash at UFC 244 in November with the one-off BMF belt on the line at Madison Square Garden.

And Masvidal plans to take care of Diaz and then target the winner of the much-delayed clash between 170lb champion Kamaru Usman and interim belt holder Colby Covington.

"What I am going to wait for is for those two sissies to clear it out of who is going to fight," he said

"If God gives me the victory on November 2, I want to take everybody’s head who’s attached to a belt.

"Somebody says they have a belt, I’m coming for it. And if it’s either one of those two sissies, then they are going to get it."

Trash talking was at a premium at the press conference on Thursday with Masvidal showing Diaz plenty of respect.

"He's a different calibre than the guys that you mentioned and I've seen him pull through some tough situations and win those decisions," he added.

UFC president Dana White revealed his reasoning behind the unique belt which could be presented by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson on fight night.

“I said to my guys, 'Listen, tell me if I'm crazy, but what if we think about actually having a 'baddest motherf***** in the game belt,' and my guys loved it," said White.

"We started talking about it, and we went into the design team at the UFC. We started to design it."
