Jordyn Woods lied to her friends on her whereabouts in a bid to keep her debut on The Masked Singer a complete secret.
The model and reality star, 22, is said to have told her friends she was filming for an "action TV show", when she was in fact appearing on the singing show as The Kangaroo.
Kylie Jenner's ex-bestie Jordyn was unmasked on the American version of the TV show on Wednesday, after successfully fooling her pals into thinking she had bagged an exciting new acting role.
However it's said that her friends did have their suspicions that she was the voice behind the character.
The superstar told Entertainment Weekly : "A lot of people did reach out. They would be like, 'I'm so proud of you'. I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'
"If I don't say anything, now it looks suspicious. I would say how tired I was because I was working the day before."
She said she told her eager pals she was working on a new action pilot if they asked what she was getting up to.
"I'm going to be on a new action TV show and it requires a lot of running, so I'm just drained," Jordyn told her pals.
The gorgeous Instagram star joked: "Little did they know I'm actually running around in a kangaroo costume."
Jordyn, who is Kylie's ex-best pal, kept her huge debut so secret that she didn't even tell her own grandparents.
She had only told her mum, sister and her brothers about competing on the show, and says she wanted her whole appearance to be a "mystery".
Unfortunately, fans of the singing series were quick to spot that Jordyn was playing The Kangaroo, due to her "distinctive" voice.
She added: "I guess I'm very distinctive. I didn't realise how distinctive my voice is, the cadence of it, the slight rasp to it, how I walk, my little laugh that I do all the time."
Jordyn admitted "everyone knew" it was her from the first time.
