Jordi Osei-Tutu sends message to Mikel Arteta as Emile Smith Rowe deal signed off

Arsenal have a number of players out on loan across Europe to gain regular gametime.

In Germany, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Jordi Osei-Tutu are both at 2. Bundesliga clubs, whilst Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mohamed Elneny are at Roma and Besiktas respectively.

Youngster Emile Smith Rowe is at Huddersfield, whilst William Saliba had been at Saint-Etienne before the Ligue 1 season was curtailed.

Here's how Arsenal's loanees got on this weekend:

David Luiz: Is his reputation as error-prone unfair?

Jordi Osei-Tutu

Osei-Tutu continued his impressive form for Bochum with a goal against Greuther Furth in a 2-2 draw at the weekend.

The Arsenal youngster has now scored four goals in his last 10 appearances for the German side, and his display at right-wing back role will have impressed Mikel Arteta.

Bochum sit sixth in the table after the result.

Konstantinos Mavropanos

The defender has been a regular for Nuremburg this season, and his excellent displays have seen him linked with a move to several Bundesliga clubs.

But the Greek centre-back was forced to miss the weekend's clash against Stuttgart after picking up a head injury in the 6-0 win over Wehen Wiesbaden last week.

His absence was keenly felt by Nuremburg, who were beaten 6-0 themselves.

Mohamed Elneny

The Egyptian midfielder played the full 90 minutes as Besiktas beat Denizlispor 5-1 on Saturday.

Since the Turkish league season has restarted, Elneny has not missed a single minute of action as he continues to establish himself as a key player for the Super Lig side.

Emile Smith Rowe

Smith Rowe had been in excellent form for Huddersfield before the season was postponed, and he is looking to continue in the same vein.

The teenager started for Danny Cowley's side on Saturday in his favoured number 10 role, but was booked and withdrawn after 51 minutes as the Terriers fell to a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Wigan.

football.london understands Arsenal have signed off on an extension of his loan at the Yorkshire club until the end of the season, with the original deal expiring at the end of June.
