Jordanhill firebomb attack leaves two vehicles burnt out as police launch investigation

Two vehicles have been torched in a late-night firebomb attack in Jordanhill.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Chamberlain Road at around 1:30am this morning.

There were no reported injuries.

Police Scotland are treating the blaze as deliberate and are appealing for information from the public.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.30am on Friday, 2 July, police were called to a report of two vehicles on fire on Chamberlain Road, Jordanhill, Glasgow.

"Emergency services attended however no one was injured in the incident.

"The fires are being treated as wilful and anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 0230 of 1 July, 2021."
