Jordan Stevens has thanked Leeds United fans for their supportive messages on social media.
The 19-year-old midfielder, a regular for Carlos Corberan’s Under-23s, has been serving a six-week ban from football-related activities for offences related to gambling.
Leeds have been supportive of the youngster, lodging an appeal against the charge, while the club’s managing director Angus Kinnear recently shared a strongly-worded statement against the decision, calling it ‘intellectually insurmountable’.
Posting an update to his Instagram page, Stevens shared a photograph of the handwritten cards he’s received from Leeds fans, captioning it with ‘Thank You’.

After joining from Forest Green Rovers in February 2018, he made his senior debut for Marcelo Bielsa’s senior team against Stoke last season, and has been making quite the impression for the club’s youth set-up before going along with the first team for the pre-season tour of Australia.
He’s now served his suspension and is back training with the club.
