Jordan’s state security court sentences on Wednesday four Jordanians to jail for promoting the ISIS terrorist group.
The first suspect, 28, was sentenced to two years with labor for making written statements in support of the group and passing them on to an officer at a security station. The suspect was already being held at the station’s rehabilitation center, said the court sentence.
The second suspect, 35, was sentenced to four years with labor for writing pro-ISIS statements and hanging them on his jail cell wall.
The third suspect, 26, was sentenced to three years with labor for promoting ISIS on social media.
The fourth suspect was sentenced to five years with labor for the possession of a flammable substance that he was going to use for illegal purposes. He was arrested by the army in July 2016 while trying to infiltrate Israel.
