Jordan's King Abdullah has appealed to visiting US Vice President Mike Pence to "rebuild trust and confidence" after the Trump administration's recent decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Pence says US still believes in a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is now on his way to Israel where he is expected to receive a mixed welcome.
