Jordanian Monarch Abdullah II held talks in Washington on Monday with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and White House senior advisers Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt.
They discussed Middle East peace prospects, an American source familiar with the talks revealed according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The 45-minute meeting took place at the Jordanian ambassador's residence in the American capital.
Earlier, King Abdullah received acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan.
