
Exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) increased 16 percent in the first 11 months of 2021, compared with the same period in 2019, ACI revealed on Saturday.
An ACI statistical data indicated that the chamber's industrial exports increased in January-November period of 2021, compared to the same period in 2019, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
According to the data US, India, Saudi Arabia and Iraq accounted for the majority of ACI's exports during the first 11 months of 2021, accounting for JD2.805 billion.
Exports to other countries — mainly Indonesia, Egypt, Brazil, Algeria, Turkey, Malaysia, Yemen, Belgium, Libya and Spain — increased during the January-November period of 2021.
The ACI’s top exports in the first 11 months of 2021 were distributed to the mining industries that accounted for JD1.256 billion, chemicals and cosmetics with JD1.057 billion and engineering, electric and IT with JD572 million.
