Jordan Reed returns to practice, participates in individual workouts

Jordan Reed has made his return to the Washington Redskins practice field for the first time since being diagnosed with a concussion almost two weeks ago in Atlanta.

Reed, who has been out of practice and in the concussion protocol since taking a vicious hit to the head against the Falcons in a preseason game, was seen warming up with the team on Wednesday morning at Redskins practice, which is the first we’ve seen of him in over 10 days.

While Reed is participating in individual workouts, there is no word yet on if he will be cleared for contact in time for Sunday’s game. This is the first step in getting back to the field, however, so it is a step in the right direction for the Redskins tight end.
