Jordan Reed has standout day at first Redskins training camp practice

Jordan Reed has been a star for the Washington Redskins for many years, but injury and age have started to hamper the tight end over the past couple of seasons.

On Thursday, the veteran pass-catcher set out to remind everyone of his abilities, and reassure the doubters that he still has a lot of production left to give.

Reed had a standout day for the first practice of the 2019 season, often creating separation and hauling in impressive catches that made the quarterbacks look good. In the past, injuries have often limited Reed in early-season workouts, but this year he is healthy and ready to go.

If Day 1 was any indication of what’s to come from the veteran tight end, the Redskins will have a formidable threat over the middle this season.
