Jordan Poole got ripped on for attempting deep game-tying 3 vs. Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers really dared the Golden State Warriors to find another option in the waning minutes of Game 1 in their Western semifinals playoffs matchup.

With the Dubs down three at home, the Lakers immediately double-teamed Steph Curry, which was the right move. There’s no way you want the most clutch, purest-shooting guard in the world to have any chance to tie the game.

But that’s where there’s a problem for the Warriors. Because the ball got swung around to Jordan Poole … who attempted a shot from wayyyy outside. And to be fair, he was pretty open. But he missed and the game was over from there.

Poole had a great game, shooting 6-of-11 from beyond the arc. But fans ripped on him anyway for that shot:
