Jordan Pickford's wife Megan shows support for England keeper ahead of Euros

A very proud Megan Pickford has shown support for husband Jordan ahead of him playing for England in the European Championships.

After Euro 2020 was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament will kick off this Friday, June 11, with England first in action on Sunday against Croatia following their two friendlies against Austria and Romania last week.

Gareth Southgate's men will then complete their group stage with the highly anticipated clash with Scotland on Friday, June 18 before playing Czech Republic on June 22.

Former Sunderland player turned Everton keeper and England number 1 Jordan was a huge hero for the Three Lions in the World Cup three years ago, thanks to a superb save in the penalty shoot out against Colombia, having pulled off another brilliant stop to deny Mateus Uribe earlier in the game.

Megan was in the stands for England's matches then and it looks like she's ready to cheer on her childhood sweetheart again in the Euros.

Washington born Jordan, 27, posted a picture of him in an England polo shirt on Instagram late on Tuesday night and Megan was quick to comment, posting: "That's my bae."

Having been a couple since their school days, while both pupils at Sir Robert of Newminster, Jordan and Megan got married at Crewe's Muncipal Buildings in March 2020.

After their low key marriage, with goalie Jordan wearing ripped jeans, tracksuit top and cap, the couple, who have son Arlo together, were all set to have a lavish ceremony in the Maldives last May but their plans were thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Last month Megan took Arlo to see Jordan in action for Everton, posting a picture of them together and writing: "Got to take my baby to watch Daddy... last time he was here he was just crawling."
