Jordan Pickford's wife Megan and son Arlo head to Wembley to cheer England on against Croatia

Jordan Pickford's wife Megan and the couple's son Arlo have both travelled down to London ahead of England's Euro 2020 match against Croatia.

Gareth Southgate's men will open their account at the delayed European Championships at Wembley on Sunday and, just as she did for the World Cup in 2018, Washington lass Megan will be in the stands to cheer on her childhood sweetheart.

Former Sunderland keeper and England number 1 Jordan and Megan got married in a low key ceremony at as registry office in Crewe last year and plans to hold a lavish ceremony in the Maldives have now twice been thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.

After showing support for her husband as he posted a picture of himself stepping out in an England polo shirt earlier this week, Megan took to her Instagram story on Saturday to post two pictures of herself and son Arlo, who was born in 2019, on a train on the way to London.

She then posted a video of them at London's famous Rainforest Cafe before she and Arlo joined other England wives and girlfriends like Charlotte Tripper, wife of right back Kieran and Fern Hawkins, fiancee of defender Harry Maguire for ice cream, along with their kids.

Earlier on Saturday it was reported that all of the England WAGs had taken Covid tests in order to attend Sunday's game.

They will go out for lunch at a secret location before heading to see England take on Croatia and will chaperoned by FA officials.

A source told The Sun: "Plans have been put in place to keep everyone safe.

"The WAGs and families haven't been able to watch the players at a match because of Covid, but with fans coming back, it was important they were included too.

"The FA and England boss Gareth Southgate are aware of how important family is to the players. They will play a key role this summer if England are to bring it home."
