Jordan Pickford has sung the praises of England teammate Raheem Sterling for his goalscoring exploits at Euro 2020 and his influence on the team off the pitch.
The Manchester City winger has scored three of the Three Lions' four goals at the tournament thus far, playing a crucial part in the team's progression to the last eight.
The Everton goalkeeper faced the media ahead of Saturday's quarter-final meeting with Ukraine, and was asked how much Sterling has grown as a person over the years.
"I've known Raheem for a long time. U16s Victory Shield, me and Raheem were together in that squad so I've known him for years," Pickford said.
"His career has been outstanding and he's just the same lad he was when he was 16.
"He's just great to have around the place, he's vocal and he's laid it on the pitch. (Three) goals now, he's been brilliant."
