Walking red flag Jordan Peterson has called out Australia for its harsh lockdowns and like, “he doesn’t even go here?”
The controversial psychologist criticised the Australian government for its management of the pandemic on Twitter, calling on the opinion of former Deputy PM John Anderson (under John Howard) for some reason.
“Australians (and perhaps all in the west): are you being asked to choose between the dangers of a police state vs the dangers of COVID?” Peterson wrote on Twitter.
“I would certainly prefer the relatively low risk of the latter to the increasingly unpleasant certainty of the former).”

Anderson actually responded to Peterson’s tweet and put in his two-cents.
“I worry greatly about the impacts of COVID on young people, not just because of the health dangers but – as you are right to remind us – because of the potential cost to our young people of the loss of their freedoms and opportunities,” he responded.
Classic politician only caring about young people when it suits their agenda.
Other Aussies seemed to have mixed opinions on the tweet, but more seemed to disagree with Jordan Peterson. I mean it’s one thing to call a country a ‘police state’ when it’s not a pandemic, but it’s another when the goal is to ultimately protect our health.
i think this all depends on whether or not a police state will become the norm. are we suggesting that there is a high probability that even after the pandemic is over, the states will abuse their power? what evidence do we see that we will lean this way?

Australian. What utter rubbish. There is no tyranny here – just most Premiers and Chief Ministers striving to keep their community safe until our vaccination numbers rise from the depths of less than 30% due to the mishandling of the procurement of vaccines – a matter of months.
