Jordan Larsson in Celtic transfer link as Spartak Moscow star touted for emotional Parkhead move

Jordan Larsson is being linked with a sensational move to Celtic as it's reported he could follow in his legendary father's footsteps.

Former striker Henrik Larsson needs no introduction, with his 242 goals in 313 games seeing him named the 'King of Kings' by the adoring Parkhead crowd.

Son Jordan grew up in Glasgow and has followed in his father's footsteps, and has bagged an impressive goal return for Spartak Moscow.

This season though he's struggled with injury and poor form, with Russian FA chief Vyacheslav Koloskov even branding him a 'second division footballer' after a 7-1 loss to Zenit St Petersburg.

As a result, reports Aftonbladet, Larsson is on the market and Celtic are among the clubs tracking his progress.

Spartak had previously set an asking price of around £13million but would be willing to go below that now as they look to get the 24-year-old off the books.

The newspaper believes that Celtic are keeping tabs on the situation but they are not the only ones interested in Larsson.

English Premier League side West Ham are also believed to be keen as David Moyes looks to bolster his attacking options.

And German giants Borussia Dortmund are also interested despite Lasson failing to find the net in 11 games this season.
