Jordan Larmour to be assessed after picking up foot injury ahead of Six Nations

Jordan Larmour will be monitored by IRFU medical staff after suffering a foot injury last weekend.

Larmour, who was in a battle with Ulster's Will Addison for the no 15 jersey for Ireland's Six Nations opener against Scotland on Saturday week, suffered what Leinster described this afternoon as a 'low grade' injury in Leinster's final Champions Cup pool game in Treviso.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Rob Kearney after 71 minutes and the development will cause new Ireland boss Andy Farrell some concern ahead of his first game in charge.

The versatile back has looked to make the full-back position his own with Leinster after the Rugby World Cup, and his rival Kearney looks set to fill the gap if the injury keeps Larmour out of action for an extended period.
