Jordan Jones recreates Alfredo Morelos Rangers celebration as Christmas Eve training fun highlights team spirit

He might not be anywhere near the team after his Covid-19 but Jordan Jones is still clearly a well-liked member of the Rangers squad.

And the players enjoyed a bit of fun on Christmas Eve as they prepared for a huge fixture on Saturday against Hibs on Boxing Day.

The Ibrox side have been on fire this season and it was evident team spirit is high as they enjoyed themselves with some fun games at the training centre in Auchenhowie.

The three groups were split into a team wearing Santa jumpers, another wearing snowmen and the third wearing Christmas Puddings.

Some of the coaching staff got involved too, although manager Steven Gerrard managed to avoid the Christmas jumper this year as he watched on.

But Jones then recreated his pal Alfredo Morelos' famous knee slide and point celebration that has been so often throughout his Ibrox career.

The Rangers striker might not have been hitting the back of the net quite so much this season but Jones showed him his celebration once again after hitting the bar during a crossbar challenge.

The pair were in the same team and it looked like a lot of fun as they battled to win.
