Jordan Jones insists Rangers can go invincible as he reveals determined 55 focus

Jordan Jones insists Rangers focus was all on 55 and they knew they had a better squad than Celtic so 10 In A Row didn't mater

And he revealed he loved watching the scenes of jubilation from the players and staff inside Ibrox and at the Rangers Training Centre on Saturday and Sunday as the league was clinched.

Players and staff celebrated wildly but Jones reckons Steven Gerrard will have the focus back in training this week ahead of Thursday's game against Slavia Prague.

The Europa League clash is a huge game which could see them go one step further in the tournament than last year as they look to reach the last eight.

Rangers produced incredible performances throughout the campaign to seal their first league title in a decade and Jones reckons they can now go and become invincible.

They still remain unbeaten in league football and Jones told the Daily Record: “The message from the gaffer was that we had to focus on ourselves and if we were at our best every week then we would win the league.

“We had to make sure we were at our best most weeks and the weeks we weren’t then we needed to fight for each other and drag each other through it. That is what has happened.

“We knew it was about Rangers and not Celtic.

“We believed we had the better squad and staff around us. There was no talk about stopping 10 In A Row, it was more, ‘we are Rangers and we are going to win the 55th title this season’.

“This title is massive for everybody associated with Rangers, from the board to the pitch staff. The team still has a lot to play for. They are still in Europe and there is the Scottish Cup.

“The gaffer won’t let the boys take the foot off the pedal. There is also the league. Yes, it might be won but knowing the manager the way I do, he will want to go through the remainder of the games unbeaten.

“They can do it, I don’t think anyone can argue against them going unbeaten. He has let the boys enjoy themselves but he will be quick to put his marker down, to finish the season on a high and then the boys can really enjoy it all summer.”
