Former Rangers winger Jordan Jones returns to Scottish Premiership

Jordan Jones completes Scottish Premiership return as former Rangers winger departs Wigan

JORDAN JONES has returned to Kilmarnock on a season long loan deal from Wigan.

The former Rangers winger spent part of last season on loan at St Mirren and he now returns to Rugby Park, where he made his name in Scotland.

During his previous stint at Killie, Jones scored 11 goals in 119 appearances and as a result landed a transfer to Rangers.

The move to Ibrox did not go as planned though and the Northern Irishman was utilised as a bit-part player during his stint.

Jones was snapped up by Wigan last term and penned a three-year deal, but he has failed to edge his way into starting XI plans thus far.
