Jordan Howard says he was “relieved” to be traded to Eagles

Jordan Howard is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles now, and the former Chicago Bears running back couldn’t be any happier then he was on Monday at his introductory press conference. Saying all the right things, Howard said that he was happy to not have to face the Eagles vaunted defense anymore, and admitted that he was ‘relieved’ to have this whole process over.

“I pretty much knew they were going to be my landing spot, just didn’t know when. I was pretty excited,” Howard said.

Howard said he was informed by his agent weeks ago that he’d be an Eagles running back, and had already inquired about the jersey number 24. Unless the Birds bring back safety Corey Graham, the number will be Howard’s to wear.
