Jordan Howard is excited to be featured in the Eagles passing game

Jordan Howard believes he can be more than just a goal-line running back and hopes that the Philadelphia Eagles will give him the opportunity to show that he’s a three-down back. The former Chicago Bears star is one of the top three rushers since the 2016 season, but his production has been inconsistent in the passing game until now.

Howard has worked on becoming a better pass catcher since being traded to the Eagles in exchange for a sixth-round pick and on Monday, took a shot at his former team for not believing in him as a pass catcher.

With Carson Wentz fully healthy and veteran speedster DeSean Jackson back in the fold, Howard will have plenty of chances to show just how explosive he can be. The Eagles used a second-round pick on Penn State running back Miles Sanders, but it appears Howard will get a fair shot at becoming the featured back.
