Jordan Henderson, Peter Crouch and Liverpool's most underrated XI of all time named

Throughout history Liverpool have been blessed by some of the greatest players to ever step foot onto a football pitch.

Under their current guise, this is also no different and so many names will spring to mind when thinking about the best of the best turning out at Anfield.

And while those men ultimately deserve every bit of respect and adulation that comes their way for performances in red, there have been a number of players throughout history who perhaps haven't received the type of attention they deserve for the sensational work they have done for their side.

And with that in mind, the Liverpool ECHO asked fans across social media who some of the Reds' most underrated players in history were and we've compiled a classic 4-4-2 starting XI from those suggestions along with putting together a bumper substitute bench to make sure almost all suggestions were included.

Of course, this is a subjective debate and if you agree, disagree or have another suggestion then please let us know in the comments box below.
