Jordan De Goey, charged with one count of indecent assault, has had his bail extended until August. (AAP)

Collingwood's Jordan De Goey has had his bail extended until later this year as the AFL star awaits a court hearing over an alleged indecent assault.

The 24-year-old faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday via video link and his bail was extended until a three-day contest hearing due to start on August 9.

He did not speak during the 10-minute hearing before magistrate John Bentley.

De Goey and his co-accused, Jake Edginton, have been charged with one count of indecent assault, relating to an alleged incident in Kew in 2015.
