Jordan Bone’s NBA draft party exploded when he was taken with the 57th pick

With just four picks to go in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft, it looked like Tennessee guard Jordan Bone would join the countless undrafted free agents who would have to fight for a spot on team.

As one video captured, he was at his draft party, waiting for the call. It appears his brother and fellow ex-Volunteer Josh Bone was on stage, speaking to the party, informing them that he was “hurt right now, probably more hurt than he is” before he said he doubted it.

In the middle of his speech … someone noticed that Jordan Bone was selected 57th overall by the Pelicans (he’d eventually end up on the Pistons thanks to two trades). The place EXPLODED and everyone tackled Bone (WARNING: NSFW language ahead. Also, you may want to turn your volume down!):

That’s just the best. Congratulations!
