English musician Jools Holland has announced the date for his Dublin gig next year.
The popular TV presenter will be playing at the 3Arena on October 23, 2020 with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.
Jools will be joined on vocals by Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, and his fellow Squeeze member Gilson Lavis will be on the drums.
Tickets are priced from €60 and will go on sale this Friday morning at 9.
In 1987, Jools formed The Jools Holland Big Band – comprising himself and Gilson Lavis.
This has gradually metamorphosed into the current 19-piece Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, which consists of pianist, organist, drummer, three female vocals, guitar, bass guitar, two tenor saxophones, two alto saxophones, baritone saxophone, three trumpets, and three trombones.
Jools is best known presenting BBC show Later… With Jools Holland in 1992.
