Barry Fry has further toughened his stance on selling Peterborough United star Jonson Clarke-Harris.
The 33-goal striker - who Fry says has been scouted by Rangers - is a man in-demand this summer and the Posh director of football has again been speaking about his future.
Fry declared last week it would take an offer the League One outfit couldn't refuse to persuade them to sell.
Portsmouth do expect bids with West Brom and Sheffield United also in the mix this summer.
But Fry has insisted his recommendation to the club's board is now a hard 'do not sell'.
The 76-year-old reckons he could've landed the owners more money in selling former Celtic target Ivan Toney to Brentford, where he is now valued at £35million.
And he doesn't want the same to happen with Clarke-Harris.
Fry told This is Futbol : “I think whoever bids, I’ll put it to the three owners, and my recommendation will be ‘don’t sell him’, but they don’t always take notice of me!
"I told them not to sell Ivan, I told them I could get more money.”
