Jonny Bairstow responded with a foul-mouthed rant after being struck by a Tim Southee full toss.
The England wicket-keeper was hit in the stomach during England's T20 World Cup warm-up game against New Zealand.
After discovering it had not been called a no-ball, Bairstow yelped: “Surely that’s a f****** no ball!”
He then whacked his bat on the ground in frustration, before launching the Kiwi bowler over mid-wicket for a towering six.
The 32-year-old then took to Twitter in response to an update from Sky Sports News, who described him as “pumped” after wearing the full toss from Southee.
The star cricketer wrote: “Absolutely…would love to invite anyone to stand and take it without a couple of angered words! It’s pleasant I promise…come try it!”
The 50-over world champions would go on to win the match by 13 runs and build some confidence ahead of their first Super 12 game against the West Indies on Saturday.
Bairstow went on to score 30 off 21 balls as England posted 163, with Jos Butler registering the top score of 73.

Ahead of Saturday's encounter, Rashid believes they can beat the defending champions if they execute their plans well.
"We are confident - it's a big game, but I'm sure we'll be relaxed and focused," Rashid said of England's first group match.
"We are definitely confident if we stick to our strengths, stick to what we know, we'll do well."
England will be keen to get the upper hand on the defending champions after an agonising loss in the 2016 final, which is fondly remembered for Carlos Brathwaite’s four consecutive sixes in the final over to secure a historic second T20 World Cup triumph for West Indies.
