TV chat show host Jonathan Ross is joining Celebrity Gogglebox.
Jonathan, 60, is a renowned film buff, who hosted the BBC’s review series Film for 11 years.
He joins the show, filmed from his living room, with son Harvey Kirby, 27, daughter Honey Kinney, 24, and Honey’s boyfriend, musician Zane Saz.
The TV host has been an avid viewer of the Channel 4 series since early series, and once quipped if he were to appear he would make comments like the much loved late couple, June and Leon Bernicoff.
But Jonathan admitted he struggled watching the cast review his ITV series, The Jonathan Ross Show: “Your heart sinks,” he said of hearing the critiques.
Jonathan’s first time appearing on the series will be tomorrow at 9pm on Channel 4.
The family will appear in two episodes, where the cast will be watching TV highlights of the week, expected to include the new series of Love Island and England’s Euro 2020 victory against Germany.
The current series has included new appearances from Sporty Spice Mel C alongside her brother Paul, Clare Balding and her wife Alice Arnold and Lorraine Kelly, who joined the series with her daughter Rosie.
Strictly’s Clara Amfo and her brother Andy critique together, as have former Premiership footballers turned pundits Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher.
Regular cast members returning for this series have including Denise Van Outen, Maureen Lipman, Chris Eubank, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
Nick Grimshaw, who quit Radio 1 after 14 years, watches with his niece Liv.
