Jonathan Ross' daughter Honey says being called 'fat' should not be taken as an insult

Jonathan Ross' daughter Honey appeared on Tuesday's Loose Women to discuss body confidence - and said the word "fat" should not be considered an insult.

The model, 23, chatted with the panel about her looks being under scrutiny since she was teenager.

Growing up in the spotlight with her famous dad, Honey said that she received incredibly hurtful comments over her weight gain when she was younger.

Honey shared how she was subject to horrible comments about her weight and looks and reflected on the damage that it did to her mental health at the time.

The Instagram sensation told that she is now accepting of her shape and "happy" as she urged the ladies and viewers to not be offended if they are ever dubbed "fat."

Honey told that she just sees the word as a descriptor and added that people describe some as "thin" and that does not cause offence.

She shared: "I think fat is a good word, from the age of 18 I turned my views around and am comfortable in my fat body."

Honey added: "You can be fat and happy!"

In February Honey opened up on being called a "little hog" by trolls when she was younger.

She said during an interview on Lorraine: "I was 13 and some paparazzi photos - I didn't choose who my parents were. I was in the spotlight without any consent or input and so paparazzi photos of myself and my family would appear online.

"And people would be like, 'Look at that little hog'. You would see that when you were 13 and all those fears you have, all those things people are worried are thinking about you, I saw them written down by people like Dave from Lincolnshire.

"It was so alarming, so upsetting."

She added: "Teenagers are so vulnerable and so prescious. If I can make sure that no teenagers can feel the way I felt, then I've done my job, and that's all I care about."

Honey also revealed that a lot of her friends had "life-threatening eating disorders".

"You're either too thin or too fat, there seems to be no middle ground where anyone is happy, which is how I came to the conclusion that it was all nonsense," she said.
