Jonathan Cheban has defended his friend Gemma Collins after she was slammed for her behaviour on new show Diva Forever.
People tuning into the first episode of The GC's new reality show said they were unfollowing her after seeing the way she spoke to her staff.
She also left people disgusted when she turned up hours late for a photoshoot and scratched her "stinky" crotch and made her stylist smell her hand.
But Jonathan, who lived with Gemma on Celebrity Big Brother , has come to her defence, saying he loves her diva antics - and that he's an even bigger diva than she is.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online, he said: "I am going to be on Gemma's show, we filmed in LA and she came onto my turf.
"It's hysterical, she really is a diva, but you know what she can't out-diva me, especially on my home turf.
"I drove her round in a Rolls Royce convertible and she was the GC, we had a few fights here and there but that's Gemma for you. That's just her and you know what, you just get used to a certain way, just because someone's a diva... you can be a diva in a nice way."
Comparing her to other stars, he added: "J-Lo's a diva, Mariah Carey's a diva, you know what I mean, Gemma's a diva on her level, she provides entertainment for people, she makes me laugh which is very hard to do, there's only a few people who can make me hysterical laugh.
"Her whole vibe is a comedy to me, so I love the divaness because I give it back to her and sometimes she can't take it.
"It's kind of a give and take thing with Gemma but we laugh none stop. Sometimes I'm shocked when she's a diva and I tell her, 'You're not going to do that here' so it's the perfect title for the show, people should just enjoy her, she's hilarious."
Jonathan also chatted about launching his own podcast and legally changing his name to Foodgod.
