Jonathan Afolabi gets cheeky with first Celtic goal as Scott Brown shows his 24/7 passion for the Hoops

Jonathan Afolabi scored his first goal for Celtic as the reserves eased past Morton on Tuesday.

The youngsters were in action at Lennoxtown in the Reserve Cup and had to come from a goal behind to win 4-2.

Armstrong Oko-Flex, Cameron Harper and Karamoko Dembele were also on the scoresheet alongside Afolabi for Celtic.

Morton took a surprise early lead as new signing Billy King was on target for the away side seven minutes into the match.

But Celtic were on level terms eight minutes later as Afolabi, who joined from Southampton on a three-year deal in the summer, equalised with a cheeky back-heel after some nice link up play with Oko-Flex.

The former Arsenal starlet then joined in on the action as he put Celtic ahead from the penalty spot.

The Parkhead side were ahead at the break 2-1, but it didn't take long for them to double their advantage as Cameron Harper added a third just five minutes into the second half.

Former Kilmarnock striker Robbie Muirhead reduced the deficit for the Cappielow side, before highly-rated Dembele secured the victory off the bench three minutes from time.
