Jonatan Johansson leaves Morton just hours before final game of the season

Morton are hunting a new manager after Jonatan Johansson left Cappielow just hours before Saturday's final game of the season.

The former Rangers youth coach has departed with No2 Peter Houston also leaving his post at Cappielow.

Chris Millar and Jim McAlister will take charge of this afternoon's clash with Dundee United.

It's understood Johansson and Houston were to be told their contracts would not be renewed with the Championship club after the game.

But the pair exited before today's final league clash and leaves Morton on the hunt for a new boss.

The Finn only took the reins in August after Ray McKinnon's shock switch to Falkirk.

The BBC are also reporting the management team were told not to play Charlie Telfer to avoid triggering a clause which would extend his deal.
