Jonas Brothers go for pre-drinks in Northern Quarter bar ahead of Manchester Arena gig

Pop stars Jonas Brothers popped into a trendy Northern Quarter bar for 'pre-drinks' before their gig in Manchester.

The trio were snapped posing with staff at Port Street Beer House on Thursday afternoon.

The chart-toppers later performed at Manchester Arena as part of their world tour.

Staff at Port Street Beer House posted about the surprise visit on their Instagram account, to the delight of fans.

They joked that the pop stars were visiting for pre-drinks to celebrate the bar's anniversary.

The post said: "Always a pleasure to have a visit from The Jonas Brothers on our birthday.

"They’ve been organising their world tours to coincide their Manchester date with our special day since 2011.

"Wouldn’t miss it for the world, they said.

"Pre-drinks at our b’day before their Arena show?

"We are now a verified Jonas Brothers venue. I for one welcome our new Jobro overlords. Nice fellows!"
