Jonas Brothers' family home near Fort Worth sells

Nov. 12--The Jonas Brothers' family home in Westlake, Texas, has sold for an undisclosed amount. They're a bit touchy about real estate prices in the Lone Star state and don't divulge them in public records.

The three-quarters of an acre spread had been listed at prices including $3.4 million, $3.2 million and, most recently, $2.75 million.

Built in 2005, the ranch-style home is Southwestern Traditional in style with some Mediterranean, Craftsman and ranch touches. That's ranch as in a real ranch with livestock, not California ranch.

Instead of vast stretches of cattle land, the home looks out onto a golf course.

The two-story house has a great room, a music room, a game room, a media room, a wet bar, six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a powder room within its 7,360 square feet of living space. Beamed ceilings, plantation shutters and wainscoting are among the architectural details.

A saltwater swimming pool, a gazebo, an outdoor living room, an outdoor fireplace, a covered patio, an outdoor kitchen, mature trees and lawn complete the grounds.

Westlake is a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, all in their 20s, are known for the pop-rock group they formed in 2005 and their appearances in Disney Channel shows and movies. They pursued solo work during a 2010-11 hiatus and disbanded the Jonas Brothers two years ago.

Chris Arnold Premier Realty had the listing. Ebby Halliday, Realtors represented the buyer. Celebrity Aerial Address unearthed the sale.
