Tom Arnold has torn into Jon Voight after the actor posted an alarming video comparing Joe Biden to “Satan” while supporting pro-Donald Trump conspiracy theories.
The True Lies actor compared the clip that shows Voight calling Democrats “evil” to a “hostage video”. Voight, 83, can also be seen saying he is “disgusted with [the] lie” that Joe Biden beat Trump in the 2020 presidential election.“
“The good old Jon Voight didn’t need cue cards,” Arnold wrote on Twitter.
“This is a G-d damn hostage video! Please save Angelina Jolie’s dad!!!!!!”
Voight has long been a supporter of Trump. The video follows the president’s refusal to concede after losing the US election to Joe Biden.
Since Biden's victory was projected on Saturday (7 November), Trump has repeatedly tweeted claims that the election was “rigged” and that the votes were not counted in the correct manner.
Ahead of the US election, Voight's Ray Donovan co-star Eddie Marsan poked fun at the actor while urging his fans to vote for Biden.
Marsan previously called actor “a friend of mine who I happen to disagree with politically”.
