Jon Rahm tipped as the favourite for Scottish Open

The Scottish Open returns to its usual summer slot with fans set to be in attendance in North Berwick as the scene is set at the Renaissance Club.

A purse of €6,215,965 is up for grabs with some of golf's finest looking to warm-up ahead of The Open Championship next weekend.

From the bookies perspective, Grosvenor Sport has priced Jon Rahm as the favourite at 13/2 as the world number one looks to maintain his fine form in 2021.

The 26-year-old has had an impressive season so far winning the US Open recently after top 10 finishes in the PGA Championship and the Masters too.

The Spaniard, who lives in Arizona, USA, has consistently improved year-on-year and has the perfect warm-up event in the Scottish Open before travelling to Kent for the Open Championship.

Here are the favourites to win it:

  • Jon Rahm - 13/2
  • Xa Schauffele - 10/1
  • Collin Morikawa - 11/1
  • Rory McIlroy - 14/1
  • Justin Thomas - 16/1
  • Tyrrell Hatton - 18/1
  • Ma Fitzpatrick - 20/1
  • Tommy Fleetwood - 20/1
