Jon Dadi Bodvarsson just needs a goal to kickstart his Bolton Wanderers career after improving game on game with his new club with Ian Evatt believing starts will come for the January transfer window signing.
The 29-year-old arrived at Wanderers from Millwall in January on a free transfer and has made five appearances so far for his new club.
The Iceland international has only been used off the bench so far as his game time is managed to help him improve match sharpness after being out of the first team picture at the Lions for this season, in which he made just one appearance for the London side.

Bodvarsson came close to opening his goalscoring account for Wanderers last night in the 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic, forcing a good save from Craig MacGillivray.
Dion Charles put Bolton in front early on after getting the better of Akin Famewo and rounding MacGillivray to give the hosts the lead.
But the Addicks equalised when substitute Chuks Aneke rose highest to head past James Trafford.
However, Wanderers retook the lead and what proved to be the three points when Will Aimson headed home Aaron Morley's dangerous free-kick to give Wanderers 16 points out of their last 18 on offer.
And Evatt believes the striker will be a big player for Wanderers in the future and will be granted opportunities this season and beyond, with starts on the horizon.
He said: “It’s a similar situation to Dion really. We've had to make sure we don’t break him, keep building up his minutes, build up the intensity and he’s getting better and better with every game.
"He just needs a goal and he was unfortunate tonight, it was a fantastic save.
“There’s a lot more games to come this month, there’s a lot more games to come in the season and in the future as well. We didn’t just sign Jon for the here and now.
"He’s going to be a big player for us in the future as well, so we’ve done some good business in January. There’s lots of improvement to come, but tonight it’s about enjoying a victory where we weren’t quite at our best.”
Aimson moved across the back three to fill in for the absent George Johnston as he popped up with a headed winner from a set piece.
Evatt is pleased for the former Plymouth Argyle defender who has been patient to wait for his opportunities and has been solid when he has been granted them.
But Evatt believes that the team will have to change in terms of personnel over this busy period ahead of this weekend's clash against Oxford United to maintain freshness.
He said: “I’m pleased that we’ve scored from a set play. He’s come in on his wrong foot and wrong side and he’s done great. He defends really well, he’s not let anybody down when he’s played.
"Obviously we’ve got some good players in that position and he’s had to be patient, as they’re all going to have to learn to be. I’ve just said that to them in there. The team is going to have to change.
"We can’t keep doing what we do and play with the intensity we want to play at with the same 11 playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday for an entire month. We have to trust everybody and give people opportunities and that’ll be the case on Saturday.”
