Jon Connolly leaves Fauldhouse United

Fauldhouse United manager Jon Connolly has left the club with immediate effect.

His surprising exit comes with the club still in the hunt to win the East Region South Superleague. The Hoose are currently sitting in fourth place in the league but with less games played than the teams ahead of them.

The reason for his departure is unclear at this stage but Connolly claimed on Twitter last night that the juniors are dying and said more and more clubs are leaving.

Connolly said: "Its with a heavy heart that I've resigned as manager of Fauldhouse United with immediate effect. I just hope the club do the right thing by the players and void contract extensions of boys who want them scrubbed."
