Jon Bon Jovi Uncertain About Touring After Vocal Cord Surgery.

Jon Bon Jovi honored at MusiCares Person of the Year Gala

Renowned musician Jon Bon Jovi recently revealed uncertainties about his ability to embark on a tour following vocal cord surgery he underwent a few years ago. In a recent interview, the iconic singer shared that he is still in the process of recovery and is unable to confirm whether a tour for his band's upcoming album, Forever, will be feasible.

Jon Bon Jovi expressed his desire to tour next year but acknowledged the challenges he faces due to the aftermath of a significant surgery he underwent in 2022. The surgery was necessitated by the atrophy of one of his vocal cords, with one cord being as thick as a thumb while the other was as thin as a pinky. The singer lamented the impact of the surgery on his craft, stating that it felt like his ability was being taken away.

Despite being on the path to recovery and being able to record the new album at his own pace, Jon Bon Jovi emphasized his aspiration to perform for extended periods on stage. He aims to deliver two-and-a-half-hour performances four nights a week for months on end, a goal he is diligently working towards.

Earlier this week, the legendary band, celebrating their 40th anniversary, announced the release of their 16th studio album, Forever, scheduled for June 7. The band also unveiled the first single from the album, titled Legendary, marking an exciting new chapter in their illustrious career.

Jon Bon Jovi took to Instagram to express his anticipation for the album's release, indicating his eagerness for this significant moment. Fans of the iconic rock group eagerly await updates on Jon Bon Jovi's recovery and the possibility of future tour dates to experience their timeless music live once again.
