Jon Bon Jovi: Thomas Tuchel can stay at my house during the World Cup - if England make it far enough!

Jon Bon Jovi has invited England boss Thomas Tuchel to stay at his house - if the national team make it to the World Cup final.

The rocker, 63, met Tuchel, 52, and Arsenal manager Michel Arteta, 42, during a trip to London to announce his shows in the UK next summer.

They hit it off at Bon Jovi’s first ever Premiership football match, Arsenal vs Crystal Palace at the Emirates stadium.

Next year’s World Cup final is scheduled to be held at the MetLife stadium, close to Bon Jovi’s New Jersey home.

“I’ve extended the invitation for Thomas to come and stay at my place… if England makes it that far,” he told the Standard with a smile.

The rocker also talked about Donald Trump being elected as President again, saying it’s a “scary time” to be in America.

“Let me find a nice way to say this: 50 per cent of Americans voted for this man so I don't look down on those 50 per cent,” he said.

“I just don't know if he has their best interests at heart... it's a very, very scary time. What's that famous saying?

“Those who don’t learn the lessons of history are bound to repeat them. I mean, if he tries to stand again in 2028 this really could be the end of the American dream.”
