US reality TV juggernaut JoJo Siwa has seemingly taken a swipe at her ex, Kath Ebbs, after they hard-launched their relationship on Instagram with AFLW superstar Tilly Lucas-Rodd.
In mid-July, Ebbs stirred up dating rumours with the Aussie footballer after they shared a cheeky TikTok of Lucas-Rodd, writing, “Posting said crush cause what the hell they going to do about it???”.
“Hope this one doesn’t cheat on me x,” Ebbs wrote in the caption of the TikTok, taking an online jab at their ex, JoJo Siwa.
Weeks later, the pair confirmed their relationships with a collection of loved-up photobooth snaps.
“The rumours are true! YES I still (stupidly) believe in love!!”, Ebbs penned alongside the sweet, sweet pics.
Weeks after the couple hard-launched their relationship status, it appears that Siwa has now responded to her ex’s new partner and that deliciously shady TikTok.
Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, the former Dance Moms star was asked if reading Ebbs’ TikTok caption with Lucas-Rodd hurt. In response, the “Karma” singer said she was, “I’m just lucky enough that I realised things when I did”.
“I could have spent more time in my life being in a bad place. And I’d rather not do that,” Siwa said.
“It’s interesting… It’s funny to see what people do for attention.”
For those who need a refresher on the lore between Ebbs and Siwa, the pair dated for a few months up until Siwa joined Celebrity Big Brother UK. Despite being on good terms before entering the Big Brother house, Siwa began to stir up cheating rumours after she got extremely close to Love Island UK star, Chris Hughes.
When Siwa officially exited the Big Brother house, Ebbs confirmed they were dumped by the singer during an afterparty. At the time, Siwa and Hughes didn’t confirm their relationship right away, but after weeks of speculation, the pair confirmed the rumours and have packed on the PDA ever since.
Elsewhere in the interview with Fabulous Magazine, Siwa slammed rumours that her relationship with Hughes was all a facade.
“It’s so true that people are obsessed with it,” she told the publication.
“It’s funny, a lot of people think that it’s fake. And I can see where people would go: ‘Ahh, it’s too good to be true. That’s too perfect.’ No, trust me, I agree with them. It is too perfect. It’s magic. But it’s real.
“So the best thing to do is just sit back and laugh, because it’s so obviously not fake. It’s not even worth fighting it. Of course it’s hard [hearing criticism], but I’ve had to deal with so much in my life that I’m now at the point where I think: ‘You know what? All good.’
“At the end of the day, I’m able to chuck my phone down, and I have the most real thing I’ve ever had in my life in front of me. People are going to say things, but it doesn’t get to me because it’s so far from the truth.”
Honestly, I’m just happy that Ebbs has seemingly found the love they deserve!!!
