JoJo Siwa has provided more insight into what went down between her and Kath Ebbs during their breakup at the Celebrity Big Brother UK afterparty.
After 20 days inside the Big Brother house, JoJo, 21, was reunited with Kath, 27, at the wrap party. However, instead of it being a heartfelt reunion, Kath says that they were dumped by the Dance Moms star.
But speaking to Nick Viall on The Viall Files, JoJo refuted claims by Kath that she broke up with them at the wrap party.
“That’s not entirely the story,” JoJo claimed.
JoJo said that after spending so much time in the house mulling things over, she needed time to decompress before having a big, serious chat about her relationship. She said that Kath told production that they were not going to come to the wrap party, so JoJo suggested that they both go back to their separate hotel rooms and meet up again in the morning.
“I need to realise what I am feeling, what are these thoughts? So I’m not in a place to talk, I’m in a place to have a fun, cute opening conversation, but I’m not in a place to actually talk yet,” JoJo said.
According to JoJo, this upset Kath who wanted to at least be in JoJo’s hotel after she came back from the wrap party.
“They wanted to be with me, but I knew I was not in a place for them. I was not in place to talk,” the “Karma” singer said.
About an hour into the party, Kath changed their mind and the pair got into a conversation about the future of their relationship.
“All I’m saying to every question they ask is ‘I don’t know’, ‘I don’t know’, ‘I don’t know’,” JoJo says.
“All of a sudden, we’re at the wrap party for Big Brother, I’m getting cussed out.
“It’s just a whirlwind. By the 16th time somebody asks you, ‘Are you happy? Do you want to end things?’ You’re going to just spew your guts.
“I was honest and said if you ask me tomorrow, I don’t know my answer, but if you ask me right now, my answer is yes. And then that was obviously taken as a yes.”
In the interview, JoJo also claims that Kath asked her not to speak publicly about their break-up. However, JoJo did not want to come across as being “avoidant”.

In a now-deleted video, Kath shared that they were “in a state of shock” after the breakup.
“I was told that there are confused feelings there, and that she had realised in the house that I wasn’t the person that [she] wanted to spend the foreseeable future with, which has honestly been so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now.
“I feel incredibly humiliated, and I feel a bit embarrassed.”
Kath also implied that the decision made by JoJo was influenced by her close relationship with former Love Island star Chris Hughes. However, JoJo claims that her relationship with Chris is purely platonic.
Although Kath has remained quiet since their initial explainer video was deleted, eagle-eyed fans have been keeping an eye on their reposted TikTok videos.
In one video, Kath reshared a picture post with the text, “Can a real adult tell me when everything gets easier? I’ll be 25 next week and boy, this is hard. IDK why when I was little I thought I’d have it all figured out by 25.”
Kath also reposted another similar video with the text reading, “Does anyone know if it will be easier tomorrow?”.
The poor thing is really going through it!
