JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes spotted kissing in Mexico as romance confirmed

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes appear to have confirmed their romance after being photographed sharing a kiss.

The Celebrity Big Brother pair recently sparked dating speculation after posting several cosy snaps together during the musician’s birthday celebrations.

Now, pictures published by The Sun clearly show them locking lips at a hotel in Mexico.

A source told the paper: “JoJo and Chris looked very loved-up and as they snogged in full view of other holidaymakers.

"They spent their time at the hotel holding hands and looked like a giddy couple in the early throes of love. It was nice to see.

“They were very hands on, not entirely different to how they were on TV just a bit more intimate.”

The Standard have contacted representatives of Siwa and Hughes for comment.

While Siwa and Hughes previously insisted their bond is “platonic”, fans were convinced they “hard-launched” their relationship on Instagram on Tuesday after Hughes shared photos from his trip to the US for Siwa’s 22nd birthday.

The intimate snaps showed the pair cuddling on a sofa, posing at Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida, and Hughes with Siwa’s mother Jessalyn.

He captioned the snaps, “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest,” to which the Dance Moms star replied: “& happiest:). Heart is overflowing.”

Soon after, Siwa’s ex-partner Ebbs appeared to take a subtle swipe at the duo by sharing a stoney-faced selfie on their Instagram Story, writing: “The only thing I have to say is LOL.”

Siwa had been in a relationship with non-binary content creator Ebbs since the start of the year.

The former child star, who came to the conclusion that she was queer and not a lesbian while on CBB, built up a strong bond with Hughes in the house.

Ebbs said they broke down when they saw a clip of Siwa “crawling into bed” with Hughes on television.

"I had the world's biggest meltdown,” they said on their podcast, Conversations with Kath.

“I called one of my best mates looking for validation, I was like, 'I'm having a hard time, am I just being crazy?' One thing about me is I'm really progressive, I have intimate friendships. I peck friends. I'm really f**king progressive in the way that I view friendship and I didn't know why this was triggering me."
